The conference will bring together leading scholars and young researchers who are specialized in regional, urban and local public economics. The conference should stimulate interaction and discussion among researchers and contribute to the understanding of interactions between public policies and the geography of economic activity. We welcome empirical as well as theoretical contributions from all areas of regional and public economics. Some topics of particular relevance include regional economic development, local taxes and subsidies, migration, agglomeration economies and the structural estimation of regional models.
